My mum told me some things that made sense and it made me look at things quite differently. The wise lady told me that it is important to have faith and positive about things. If we doom ourselves to failure right from the beginning, then we need not even ask God for certain things cos' we think that we would definitely fail! But we have to know that God gives good things to His children and He will never set us up for failure.
She oso told me that we have to give in order to receive. I still haven't worked out how to apply this in a certain area of my life so I definitely will keep updated on this!
