I have made an appointment to have lasik done next Thursday. I am so nervous about it and the worse case scenarios keep popping up in my head, wrecking havoc with my confidence. What if I go blind, what if I have to wear spectacles next time and I can't wear contact lenses at all?
I have very high myopia, 950 degrees on each side and I hope that the surgery will give me perfect vision again. Perhaps its too much to hope for it to happen but hopefully the odds will be as high as 80 to 90%. Got to lay off contacts for at least 3 days before the assessment so will be geeky from Friday onwards!
Have been wearing glasses for the longest time and it would definitely be a relief not to have to wear spectacles anymore.
