We are always thinking of things to do on Saturday. It's a day of relaxing and recharging. We are usually able to find things to occupy our time meaningfully.. whether it be running errands or spending time at the beach. Yesterday, strangely, we found ourselves at loss, with nothing meaningful to do!
At about 12 plus, after his excursion to IKEA, Melvin picked me up from my parents' place. After debating where to go, we decided to go to Dempsey Road since we had not been there before. We had lunch at Jones the Grocer and it was satisfying. After that we dropped by at Ben and Jerry's. I was delighted cos it was such a nice and cosy place. Perfect! We were so sleepy after lunch and I had a nap in the car as we drove to Suntec for some aimless window shopping. We felt as if we were on holiday cos there was no aim and we were just walking around.. After awhile, we gave up, had dinner and went home.
What a way to spend a nice Saturday afternoon albeit with someone I love! Must plan properly next time...
